| DESCRIPTION
|
The Medical Director is in charge of developing and implementing a strategic vision to ensure a
market edge positioning of the company in the relevant segments. He/she is also responsible for
leading and controlling the constant upgrade of all products/services. The person has a strong
exposure both internally and externally and represents the undisputable medical face of the company
in all aspects of the function. He/she reports to the local General Manager.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Medical Director is accountable for all medical and regulatory matters;
· He/she supports the achievement of the long term company business objectives in terms of
medical quality and cost efficiency;
· He/she plays an active role in recruiting, evaluating, and developing annual goals and
objectives for the medical team;
· He/she advocates in the name of the company and serves as a liaison to local and state
professional societies as well as to health officials.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 2nd level medical specialization;
· PhD a definite strong plus;
· High quality MBA, or equivalent business school degree, a definite strong plus;
· At least 5 years experience as medical practitioner;
· International professional (medical or business) experience abroad;
· Fully fluent written/spoken Polish and English;
· Knowledge of local/Polish and international accreditation systems;
· Strong business acumen;
· Experience with insurance companies, a definite plus.
